When does the selected position indicator light stop flashing?

The selected position indicator light will flash until the transfer case completes the shift. When the shift is complete, the indicator light for the selected position will stop flashing and remain ON. If any of the shift conditions are not met, the indicator position light will continue to flash. You cannot be in gear for it to work.
