Why does my Mini not stop when in gear?
Either the clutch is stuck on or there is damage to the inside of the transmission. When you step on the clutch, the input shaft of the transmission is released from the engine. When you release the clutch, the transmission is relocked to the engine. That is why you can’t stop when in gear.
