My 04 runs this cool also. In town it is 160-170 all the time. If I drive it a little bit harder than normal it will warm up or if I get on the highway at 65-70 it will warm up. Not sure what the low side thermostat is but I would bet its a 165-170 since this is where they like to run.

I pulled my 19′ TT for about 30 miles at 60mph and another 15 at about 70mph. Again, the temp never went above 210. Your load and you traveling up hill were probably similar, but you might not have been traveling as fast which would decrease the flow of air to the radiator.

I have a Scangauge hooked up and get a digital temp readout (sorry for the metric units!) before my operating temp would get up to around 90 degrees C (~190F) but now it barely makes it to 70C (~160F).
