Where is the charging light on an old car?
Alot of time on this old cars the regulator goes bad.The charging light comes off the regulator. It’s the red&green wire. The regulator is located on thr driver side mounted on the inside of the radiator core support.It is easy to change out. Start the car, take off the positive battery cable.
