How long can I use my car in accessory mode?
In accessory mode you can leave on for hours with no effect, not sure of the total time but in 50 yrs of owning vehicles I’ve never had a problem with it being in that mode-just relax and enjoy it and don’t leave the engine running total waste of your fuel and not good for the environment.

Typically about 30 to 45 minutes depending upon what you have running including the radio, the fan blower, the lights (cabin or otherwise), etc. That will depend on many, many things. Way too many to cover in space allowed. Some – type vehicle, battery, short list.

What to do when your car won’t start?
When the problem happened, I brought the first fob into the house and got the second fob and tried to control the car (i.e. either turn off or start engine) with no luck. So both fobs weren’t in the car at the same time.

How does the on mode on a Honda CRV work?
If you press the button again, with your foot off the brake, it goes into the On mode, which is just like if you had a key and turned it all the way on but without going to Start. All this is in the Owners Manual. Hold the brake while pushing the Start button will start the car. Thanks! I did look for this in the manual but couldn’t find it.
