Why does my AC only get cold when Im driving?

If your AC is cooling as usual when the vehicle is in motion then you have fan or thermostat problem. If your AC is “warm” than usual, or it doesn’t provide enough cooling at your usual AC setting, then you can point the problem to the low refrigerant charge.

When driving at slower speeds or idling, the AC blows warm air. I brought car to two VW dealerships to have their service department diagnose the problem. When running diagnostic on AC system, it states that their is voltage to the compressor but the compressor does not turn on. The freon level is good and system has no leaks.

Why does my Chevy Suburban 1500 blow cold air?

I have a 1999 chevy suburban 1500 with rear a/c & heat.The front get cold but the rear blows cool air. changed rear expansion valve. It seem as though the the hot water is going through the rear.

When does the AC work better at idle?

The high pressure readings are only occuring when the outside temp is 90 or higher. Now that the temperature is down in the mid 80’s the pressure as went back down a bit and the AC is working better at idle. I know the pressure changes with temperature change but I’ve never seen this drastic of a change. You ever get a solution?
