Why are the fans still working on an Audi A5?
Mine does it all the time, especially after some spirited driving. I’m told, by a bloke in the pub so it must be true, that Audi’s are well known for this. The fans on the A5 will continue to work after switching off the engine to help cool the turbo units…..
Why is my A6 running high speed even with engine off?
A6 2.7TDI Fan running High Speed even with engine off. My A6 seems to run the cooling fan on high speed from the moment i turn the ignition on to about 30seconds after i have turned the engine off. every so often it brings up the engine management light which brings back the following error codes.

The fans on the A5 will continue to work after switching off the engine to help cool the turbo units….. You should try and either run the car at low revs for the final couple of minutes of the journey to help cool the turbo.

Why does my Audi A3 fan run all the time?
That 4-pin refrigerant pressure switch was a common failure on the A3 cars, and its failure mode would cause the fan to run constantly. Never seen it manifest itself in the same manner on an early A4 car, though, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen.

Resonantly bought a 2013 f150 5.0L, I like the truck but over the last few days the cooling fans (both hi and low) started to run continuously. They shut off when I turn the truck off and they don’t always start up as soon as I start the truck, but I would say they are on 90% of the time.
