Why are my 4hi and 4LO lights blinking?
Tonight while driving the 4×4 light and the 4Lo light both started blinking. I wasn’t even trying to switch between 2H and 4H when this happened. As of now my truck is stuck in 4 high. I tired switching back to 2 High and even into 4Lo.
Is there a separate fuse for 4Lo blinking?
There isn’t a separate fuse for 4LO, The system is powered by the single fuse labelled 4WD Fuse. If the other modes work but not 4LO you have a different issue. What vehicle are you working on?
When does the selected position indicator light stop flashing?
The selected position indicator light will flash until the transfer case completes the shift. When the shift is complete, the indicator light for the selected position will stop flashing and remain ON. If any of the shift conditions are not met, the indicator position light will continue to flash. You cannot be in gear for it to work.
Why is the 4WD light blinking on my Toyota Tacoma?
Thought about taking it to Toyota, but afraid they’ll charge me a ton for nothing. And again, it changes into 4WD and 4 low flawlessly, the light just wont quit blinking while I’m in 2wd. Anyone have any ideas? Its starting to annoy the crap out of me.

– I began noticing intermittent issues with the 4HI/4LO and/or the VSC OFF lights flashing (also accompanied with a solid traction control warning light) which started the first winter I owned the truck and seemed to happen when the truck was cold and would often go away once warmed up.
