Where is the code 43 timing control valve?

My mate put on his diagnostic reader and came up with code 43 Timing control valve system. Ive located a supplier for this “valve” and its coming in at £180+vat.. seems a fair bit for a little valve.. Im sure ive located it on the pump as the lowest two pin connection on the bulkhead end.

Where is the tensioner on a Mitsubishi L200?

The AC compressor (lower right corner as you face the engine) has it’s own tensioner pulley, just above it. There will be a lock bolt in the center of the pulley (can be either 12mm or 14mm) to loosen but not remove.

Why is the ECU showing fault code 43?

The ECU was showing fault code 43, They where unable to get it timed up properly till they replaced everthing mounted on the crankshaft external to the sump which include the crankshaft sensor target plate, a spacer & the timing gear cog, This problem with the crankshaft pulley is not uncommon.
