When do Acura cover excessive engine oil consumption?

This is to address excessive oil consumption that is caused my the oil control rings becoming clogged and preventing oil from returning to the crank case. Furthermore, regardless of mileage or time in service (age of vehicle covered) from now until Sept 1, 2019 Acura will cover the vehicle for this to ensure client satisfaction and confidence.

Could be helpful logic to tell a reluctant manager at your local dealership. Just took in our 2011 MDX that has been having oil consumption issues. The dealer did their multi-point inspection after doing the oil change and told me the oil pump and rear main seal were leaking – rated yellow so no oil visibly leaking.

How long does a Subaru Outback battery last?

This battery was selected to replace a Subaru Outback 2013 OEM battery, and one of the main selling points was certainly the 3 yr replacement warranty offered by Optima. Problems first started surfacing around 2 years after purchase when we occasionally had to get the car jumped. The battery finally failed about 2.25 yrs after purchase.
