When does the VTM-4 light come on or off?

Only comes on in the morning after sitting all night. After restarting the VTM-4 light goes out and only the engine light stays on. So far eventually as the day goes on the light goes out and stays off. The car is running fine otherwise. This is happening to me now… 06 Ridgeline with 156,673 miles.
