What causes P0101?
Often the code P0101 is caused by a vacuum leaks. A vacuum leak allows “unmetered air” to enter the engine by-passing the airflow sensor. In the top photo, you can see a cracked intake rubber duct (snorkel).

I just got a 2015 HD3500 cab Chassis and while driving it yesterday with the fuel gage showing a quarter of a tank the low fuel light came one and the gage dropped to empty. What’s the glowplug code on my Duramax Diesel?
Had them pull the codes and they got 3 codes. P133F came up 3 times and then there was also a P0894. Any details you can share on those codes? P133F is #8 glowplug hot resistance fault. Did you determine if the Elevated Idle is enabled? Are you using remote start?
What’s the problem with my diesel truck check engine light?
The truck has 200k Millie’s, I haven’t had it long, the air filter looks very clean. I cleaned the mass air flow sensor and drive about 159 miles last night all highway, and the check engine light never went off…a few times it would as engine power reduced.
