1. Mark the linkage under the truck and unbolt it. 2. Remove shifter/cup holder cover. 3. Disconnect main wiring harness from the shifter 4. Unbolt all the bolts holding the shifter assembly to the floor. 5. Remove shifter assembly so you can work on it out of the truck.
