Why are my front and rear passenger windows not working?
Hey guys, just picked up a 2007.5 silverado 1500 and my passenger front and rear windows stoped working. I know for a fact they were working the night before. (No the Window lock button is an not on). Not working from drivers side or at there doors. Its not the circuit breaker???? Any help out there
Why are the windows not working on my Silverados?
We had a short where the 60 amp was and whenever we held the brake release the short went away. put some electrical tape over the wires where the jacket was pinched off and everything works fine. Reading on other forums this appears to be a common issue with the silverados.

08Silvy: I know you are a bit stressed with your problem but it isn’t life threatening nor is there really any problem with driving it as it is. Take a chill. It is summer and a weekend. A lot of guys/gals are out camping, 4 wheeling, traveling, etc…… First, check all your fuses.

What causes a GMC power window to move?
The passenger side switch is the probable cause. The driver’s side switch uses the relays in the passenger switch to operate the window and if this is defective a good driver’s side switch will not cause the window to move. Replacing the passenger side switch should fix the problem.

Where is the DDM fuse on a Chevy Duramax?
Anything on that door panel that has a switch, goes thru the DDM. Just to be sure, check the DDM fuse in the side dash panel. If you pull it (or it blows), nothing works on the Driver’s side, not even your key fob.
