Why is my AC not working on the driver side?

My Grand Cherokee Ac not working on driver side so we narrowed it down and found out we need to do a blend door actuator replacement. What was happening was the ac worked great on the passenger side but nothing on the driver side. We also couldn’t adjust the temp on the driver side for the heat in the winter.
