            Our prices are subject to change without notice.  We do not negotiate prices on products we offer through the Site.  We use our best efforts to ensure that the information on the Site and the price of our products are displayed accurately. All orders placed through the Customer Service Center or on the Website are subject to availability and acceptance by The House of Solid Gold.

 

 

            The House of Solid Gold reserves the right to refuse at any moment in time, without prior notice, orders exceeding a certain number of authorized products.  Currently, your order may not exceed ten (10) products in any buying session on the Website or through the Customer Service Center.

  

 

            The House of Solid Gold reserves the right to change the assortment of items offered and to limit the quantity of items that may be purchased from time to time and at any time, without prior notice.  You may browse the product pages of the Website or contact the Customer Service Center to discover products that are currently available for sale. Please note that only those creations displaying a "details and purchase" button are available for sale through the Website.  You may also call the Customer Service Center 310-283-6774 and a House of Solid Gold ambassador will provide you with further information as to product availability and assist you with your purchase.

 

 

 

 Prices, Taxes and Shipping Costs

 

            All prices shown on the product pages of the Website or mentioned by the Customer Service Center are in U.S. Dollars.

 

 

            All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The House of Solid Gold reserves the right to modify prices and delivery costs at any time without prior notice. 

  

 

        Actual shipping costs and applicable taxes will be reflected in the Confirmation of Order and invoice. Delivery costs and estimated sales and use taxes are not stated on the product pages but will be added to the product price after you have chosen your delivery options. The actual sales tax will be calculated when we dispatch the order. Please note that, in exceptional cases, the actual sales tax charged to your order may vary depending on changes in applicable law between the date you placed your order and the date we send you the Confirmation of Order.

 

 

 

Payment by Credit Card

 

            The House of Solid Gold accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, JCB, American Express, Diner’s Club and Discover.  Cards issued by banks domiciled outside the United States of America must be international credit card.

  

 

            When ordering on the Website, you will need to enter your payment details on the appropriate form. You hereby represent and confirm that you are the legitimate holder of the credit card that you will use for payment and that your payment details are correct.

 

 

            If you decide to order by telephone, you will need to communicate to the Customer Service Center your credit card number and your three- or four- digit security code that is printed on the back or the front of your card (CVV2/CVC2/CID).  Your telephone conversation will be recorded for security reasons and retained for the statutory period.  Any telephone conversation recorded by our Customer Service Center that contains your credit card information will be fully encrypted and only used to process card transactions.

 

 

            All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to The House of Solid Gold, you will need to contact your card issuer directly to solve this problem, and The House of Solid Gold will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

 

 

            Upon authorization by the card issuer, the amount of your purchase will be blocked on your credit card until your order is dispatched to the shipping address you have provided to The House of Solid Gold.  The amount of your order will be debited from your bank and captured only after our own in-house fraud security measures have been cleared and approved.  

 

 

            On extremely high-end purchases, the amount of your purchase can only be paid by BANK WIRE TRANSFER OR CASHIERS CHECK only.  These purchases typically have such high value or are limited edition pieces and require full payment before being delivered  or any masterpiece can begin the manufacturing process.

 

 

            To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, all credit card transactions performed on the Website are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.  Furthermore, The House of Solid Gold will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part, we shall not be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing the Website or ordering from the Customer Service Center.

 

 

            In order to secure your transactions and prevent fraud, by making an offer to purchase The House of Solid Gold products on the Website or through the Customer Service Center, you expressly authorize The House of Solid Gold to perform credit checks and, where The House of Solid Gold deems necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your credit-card number, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorization and to authorize individual purchase transactions.

 

 

All Buyers Paying by Credit Card

 

For 100% security all credit cards are processed through 2Checkout. To pay by Credit Card, in your shopping cart click on the "Check Out" button and it will take you directly to the Checkout page where you can securely enter your credit card information.

 

 

Discounts for Bank Wire Transfers, Money Orders, Cashiers Checks or Checks 

On orders over $5000, if you pay other than Credit Card, we will pass the credit card fee savings on to you. We offer a 2.5% discount for payment by Direct Deposit, Cashiers Check, Money Order, Cash, or Bank Wire Transfers. There is also a $15 fee for Bank Wire Transfers.

 

 

Buyers Within the USA

From USA buyers we accept payment by Credit Cards up to $5000.  Our own in-house fraud security may approve you up to $10,000.  All orders over $5,000 must be paid by Direct Deposit, Cashiers Checks, Money Orders or Bank Wire Transfers. Plus, you will receive a 2.5% discount as stated above. There is also a $15 fee for Bank Wire Transfers. We also accept US$ Cash sent by Registered Mail on all orders. We also accept US Personal Checks with a hold period of 14 business days to allow the check to clear before shipping. See our discount policy above for payment other than Credit Card.

 

 

Buyers Outside the USA

Buyers outside the USA may only purchase products by International Bank Wire Transfer. You will receive a 2.5% discount as stated above. There is also a $15 fee for Bank Wire Transfers. We also accept US$ Cash sent by Registered Mail on all orders. To some countries we can only insure packages for up to $2,500. If your country has that restriction, orders over $2500 will be shipped in 2 separate shipments and you will have to pay 2 shipping charges.  On extremely high end products we typically use BRINKS V.I.P. door to door service.

Review and Confirmation

 

            You should carefully check all details before placing your order through the Customer Service Center or on the Website, including without limitation, the Order Reference Number and the particulars of the sale, which will be provided on the Website or by The House of Solid Gold ambassador.

 

 

            Once you have confirmed and placed your order, The House of Solid Gold will issue an Order Reference Number, and acknowledge that it has received your order, which will be processed following the usual credit and anti-fraud checks plus our own in-house fraud security measures. Please make sure that you save this Order Reference Number for any future enquiries.

 

  

            On placing an order through the Website or the Customer Service Center, you are making an offer to The House of Solid Gold to purchase the products, in accordance with these Conditions of Sale.

 

 

 

 Acknowledgement of Order

 

 

            Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed through the Customer Service Center or on the Website, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order.  This acknowledgement of order is not an acceptance of your order.

 

  

            When ordering by telephone through the Customer Service Center, these Conditions of Sale will be sent to you by email with the acknowledgement of your order, of The House of Solid Gold ambassador will refer you to the Conditions of Sale posted on the Website and include copy of these Conditions of Sale in the delivery package.  Please carefully review these Conditions of Sale upon receipt.

 

 

  

 Confirmation of Order

 

            Upon dispatch of your order, The House of Solid Gold will send you by email a written Confirmation of Order.  Acceptance of your order by The House of Solid Gold concludes the offer and acceptance process; the result being the formation of an executed sales contract at the time The House of Solid Gold sends the Confirmation of Order for the purchase of The House of Solid Gold products and associated services.

 

  

Proof of Agreement

 

            The Acknowledgement of Order and Confirmation of Order that are sent to you by email, are deemed to be received when you are able to access it on your computer, mobile or handheld device.

 

  

            The Confirmation of Order and any automatic recording systems used by the Customer Service Center or on the Website will be proof of a binding agreement between you and The House of Solid Gold.

 

 

            The House of Solid Gold will preserve information concerning all orders for a minimum of four (4) years. These records may be made available to you by registering on the "My House of Solid Gold" section of the Website or by sending a legally notarized letter to: 10390 Wilshire Blvd. Suite R-16, Los Angeles, CA. However, you are advised to keep a copy (electronically and/or on paper) of all information associated with your order (i.e. the Acknowledgement of Order and the Confirmation of Order).

 

 

Complimentary Services

 

            The following complimentary services will be proposed, free of charge, on the Website or by the Customer Service Center:

  

     All packages are systematically delivered in a Black box with a gold ribbon, in The House of Solid Gold Black Bag with gold paper.  

 

            ***Gift Wrap, The House of Solid Gold will wrap any product in Gold or Black gift wrap free of charge.  

  

 

             ***Engravings

 

 

             Engraving is available on many items such as guitar picks, chopsticks, ID tags, etc..

             Unless unusual circumstances arise, all engravings are an additional $20.00 and 

             may take up to 5-7 additional days to complete the order depending on how our 

             backorders are at time of your product purchase.

 

 

 

             If you wish to have your House of Solid Gold product engraved, please provide the details on the Website or to The House of Solid Gold ambassador.  Engravings will extend the time it takes to receive your product and must be verbally approved by calling: (310)283-6774

 

 

            Engraved House of Solid Gold products cannot be returned to The House of Solid Gold for exchange or refund.

 

 

 

            ***Watch Bracelet adjustment 

 

             Bracelet adjustment is available on certain watches.  If you require a watch bracelet adjustment, the removed links will be returned to you and included in the delivery package.

 

  

            ***Gift note

 

             You may personalize your order by adding a gift note printed by The House of Solid Gold containing your message.  If you have ordered several products, additional blank notes will be provided in the package that contains your order.

 

  

Shipping Policies

 

            We only take orders for delivery to addresses in the United States of America, the 50 states located therein, and the District of Columbia.  Please note that The House of Solid Gold does not ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses and hotels.  The shipping address cannot be changed after the original order is placed.  Only the shipping address on the Invoice will be used.  

  

            Typically, The House of Solid Gold offers Free Delivery.  On occasion, delivery costs are charged to you by The House of Solid Gold, which are in addition to the price of The House of Solid Gold products themselves. The cost of delivery shall be calculated according to the purchase value of your order as indicated in these Conditions of Sale.  Delivery costs may not be charged on extremely high end products and in some cases will be hand delivered by a courier or BRINKS door to door.

 

 

            When estimating package delivery time, please allow time for credit approval, address verification and order processing.  Many of our products are custom or consistently backordered due to popularity. It is not unusual to have a 3 week wait period before the product is sent to you.  Once the order is processed and ready for dispatch, we will send you the Confirmation of Order by email. 

 

            Please note that in exceptional cases, express delivery may be delayed if you have requested a popular custom or backorder product, bracelet adjustment or engraving.  In such cases, the Customer Service Center will contact you to propose other arrangements and refund charges associated with your express delivery.  If you experience a refund without requesting one, it is because we cannot fill your order within 4 weeks.

 

 

            The House of Solid Gold insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you.  We require a signature by an adult to confirm your acceptance of each House of Solid Gold product delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by such recipient (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment of the sale contract by The House of Solid Gold and transfer of responsibility to the recipient in the same way as if the product had been delivered to you.

 

 

Return Policy

 

            In order to ensure your total satisfaction, you may return The House of Solid Gold products in accordance with the return and exchange policy set forth below. Returns of The House of Solid Gold products which are not in compliance with the conditions and time  frames set forth below may be rejected by The House of Solid Gold and will be sent back to you.

 

 

             If for any reason you wish to return your purchase , we will accept merchandise without custom engraving, in its original condition, within (14) days of the date of delivery.   Custom order products may not be returned for a refund.

 

 

            On-line purchases returned to Customer Service Center in our corporate office in Los Angeles will be eligible for a refund or merchandise credit. Returns must be shipped for processing to:

Conditions to Return a Product

 

            The House of Solid Gold products must be returned in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them.  All packaging gift boxes, display frames and leather pouches or holders must be returned as well. The House of Solid Gold will not accept any return if the product shows signs of wear, or has been used or altered from its original condition, resized (by a jeweler other than The House Of Solid Gold), or damaged in any way. 

 

 

             Engraved House of Solid Gold products cannot be returned to The House of Solid Gold for exchange or refund.

 

  

            Watch bracelets that have been adjusted at the Customer’s request must be returned with the exact same number of links as in the original delivery package.

 

 

             All returns will be subject to strict Quality Control (QC) by The House of Solid Gold to ensure that the returned products satisfy these requirements. If the products do not meet QC standards, The House of Solid Gold will refuse the return, and the products will be sent back to the Customer or the Gift Recipient, as applicable.  If the returned product satisfies Quality Control (QC), The House of Solid Gold will proceed with the applicable refund or exchange.

 

 

 

How to Prepare a Return

 

            Please call (310) 283-6774 or email customerservicecenter@thehouseofsolidgold.com to obtain a Return Authorization Form.  If the merchandise is acceptable for return in accordance with this policy, a Return Authorization Form will be emailed to you.

  

 

            The merchandise returned must be received in saleable condition with the Return Authorization Form, copies of any email instructions received from Customer Service Center, appropriate sales invoice and all original packaging and enclosures. 



  

 


            We recommend shipping merchandise for return via Federal Express for tracking purposes.  We also recommend that you request adequate insurance to cover the purchase price of the shipment.  We will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation if a return package is lost, stolen, or mishandled. Refunds and Merchandise Credit

 

            Should a product be returned to The House of Solid Gold corporate office, only the Customer will be entitled to receive a refund.  In no event will a Gift Recipient be entitled to receive a refund.

  

 

            Except for delivery of a defective product or a return that is made pursuant to the Customer’s right to cancel a telephone sale, initial shipping charges will not be refunded to the Customer.  If your return complies with the return policy, The House of Solid Gold will use reasonable efforts to credit the refund to the Customer’s credit card no later than fourteen (14) days after receipt of the returned item by The House of Solid Gold e-boutique distribution center.

 

 

 

Exchanges

 

            Customers and Gift Recipients may return a product purchased on the Website or through the Customer Service Center and, if the returned product satisfies the conditions of the return policy, exchange it for another item.

 

 

            The House of solid Gold will send an invoice to the Customer which specifies the value of the returned product, the price of the item for which the original product has been exchanged and the difference to be paid by Customer or the amount that the Customer is entitled to receive, as indicated below.

 

 

            Should a product be returned for exchange to The House of Solid Gold e-boutique distribution center by a Customer or Gift Recipient, the Customer will be entitled to receive a refund of the price difference, if the returned product is more expensive than the exchanged item (If you are a Gift Recipient, please return the product directly to The House of Solid Gold corporate office to receive merchandise credit for the price difference).  If the returned product is less expensive than the exchanged item, the Customer or Gift Recipient, as applicable, will be charged the difference in price.

 

  

            Should a product be returned for exchange to The House of Solid Gold e-boutique distribution center, either the Customer or Gift Recipient will be entitled to receive merchandise credit of the price difference, in case the returned product is more expensive than the exchanged item. If the returned product is less expensive than the exchanged item, the Customer or Gift Recipient will be charged the difference in price.

 

 

 

Customer’s right to cancel telephone sales

 

 

            If you, as a Customer, decide you do not want the products ordered through the Customer Service Center,  you may cancel the sale contract by calling the Customer Service Center within 72 hours of the purchase and mailing a notice to The House of Solid Gold.  The notice must state that you do not want the products and it must be mailed before midnight of the third business day after we send you the acknowledgement of order.  The notice must be mailed by registered letter to:

 

The House of Solid Gold, 10390 Wilshire Blvd., Suite R-16, Los Angeles CA 90024.  If you receive the products, you must refuse the delivery or return the products upon receipt and The House of Solid Gold will use reasonable efforts to refund the full price you paid, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of your request to cancel the order.

 

 

Defective products

 

            The House of Solid Gold is extremely cautious in ensuring that each product strictly complies with our quality criteria and that it has passed all our controls, both technical and aesthetic.

 

 

            If nevertheless you receive a product which seems to be damaged, you may return it to The House of Solid Gold in accordance with the return policy.  Upon receipt, The House of Solid Gold may classify the returned product as a defective product. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be defective.

 

 

            If your product is declared as defective by The House of Solid Gold, the following solutions will be proposed to the Customer or the Gift Recipient, as applicable:

 

 

i) The House of Solid Gold may send you the same product in the exact same size, subject to availability,

 

 

ii) The House of Solid Gold may propose an exchange for another House of Solid Gold creation of equivalent or higher value, in which case the initial price will be deducted and you will be required to pay only the difference, or

 

 

iii) Only you, as the Customer, may request a refund of the full price of your initial purchase.

Gifts

 

            If you purchase a House of Solid Gold product as a gift ("Gift") for someone (the “Gift Recipient”), you will have the option to choose whether you wish to receive an invoice.  If you choose to receive an invoice, The House of Solid Gold will send such invoice to your billing address by regular mail (The House of Solid Gold will never send the invoice and payment details to the Gift Recipient).  Please advise us when placing your order by filling out the "message" box.

 

 

Gift Cards

 

 

            The House of Solid Gold Printed and Virtual Gift Cards are sold subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

• Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and only up to $1000 if purchased by credit card.  If paid by Bank Wire Transfers and Cashier's Check, any amount up to $5000.


• Gift Cards can be redeemed against all products offered for sale on the www.thehouseofsolidgold.com website or the Beverly Hills BOUTIQUE store (opening 2016).


• Gift Cards are non transferable and may not be returned or redeemed for cash.


• If your order total is less than the value of the Gift Card, the remaining balance will be credited to your account and will be redeemed against subsequent orders. You may check your Gift Card balance online via your My Account page.


• If your order exceeds the value of the Gift Card and you have existing store credit on your account, this will automatically be redeemed to cover the remaining balance. All remaining balances exceeding the value of your gift credit or store credit must be paid by credit or debit card.


• If you return products you have purchased using a Gift Card, the remaining balance will be credited to your account as store credit and will be redeemed against subsequent orders. You may check your Store Credit balance online via your My Account page.


• Virtual Gift Cards will be e-mailed to the recipient once the full order has been processed and payment has been taken. A copy will also be sent to the sender as confirmation of dispatch.


• The House of Solid Gold is not liable for delivery of a Virtual Gift Card to an incorrect or non-existent email address. This is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.


• The House of Solid Gold is not responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.


• The House of Solid Gold reserves the right to cancel a Gift Card if we deem such action necessary.


• Promotion codes cannot be applied to the purchase of Gift Cards with the exception of free shipping codes which can be applied to Printed Gift Cards orders.


• Sales tax and shipping is applicable on any products purchased with a The House of Solid Gold Gift Card.


• Shipping is applicable on Printed Gift Cards.

 

 

 

Promotion Codes


           Promotion codes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Furthermore, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided.
